Last week, students at our Approved Private School, Martin Luther School, got a glimpse into their future as they explored exciting job opportunities during Career Week. Thank you to the many professionals who visited our school and shared their experiences in healthcare, beauty, the arts, emergency services, fitness, the trades, and more! ? Thank you to our generous friends from the National Giving Alliance, JL Freed Honda, and Pacifico Auto Group for donating more than 150 coats for youth in Gemma’s programs this year! These coats will help kids who participate in our Residential Treatment and Community Based Programs stay warm during the upcoming winter months. One group visited earlier this month and hosted a fun field day of games for our middle schoolers. A second group brought lots of fall fun to Martin Luther School’s younger grades today in the form of a fall festival with activities and prizes! Creativity and some friendly competition made yesterday’s volunteer activity a blast for our visitors and kids in residence, too! Thank you to the team from Vanguard for spending time at Gemma with our kids creating a giant art banner, playing kickball and gaga ball, and having fun on the playground, too.?? ?
