The Association of Graduates - U.S. Air Force Academy and Air Force Academy Foundation celebrated the Kucera Legacy Center's ribbon cutting at Falcon Stadium on Sept. 6. Jack '78 and Vianne Kucera are the lead donors for the stadium's modernization project, which includes the Kucera Legacy Center and upgrades to the north tunnel. Jack Kucera ’78 explained why philanthropy is so important at the United States Air Force Academy. “The word ‘legacy’ is used [in the name]. This isn’t about any one person’s legacy. This is the legacy of the United States Air Force and the warrior graduates that come out of this institution and the impact they have on keeping the world a safe place,” Kucera said. “We all want the same freedoms and liberties for our children that we had, and the Air Force Academy is how we do that.” The new east-side building includes an array of high-quality concession options, increased restroom capacity, an Air Force team shop, and 850 premium seats within the East Club presented by L3Harris Technologies. ???
