We’re heading to our Arlington Heights, U.S., plant to meet?Rachel King, who leads the microbiology lab! Rachel started at GE HealthCare in an entry level role at the lab ten years ago. She has since advanced her career, alongside many other colleagues she started with, to lead the team she joined a decade ago. At the plant, we manufacture pharmaceutical diagnostic agents that must go from production to the patient at the hospital within a day, due to the delicate nature of the diagnostic imaging agent. Rachel’s team ensures environmental monitoring throughout the facility to maintain both safety, quality and efficiency. "We are constantly working in close proximity, relying on each other's expertise," Rachel emphasizes. "It's not just about fulfilling our individual roles; it's about coming together as a team, communicating, and being there to lend a hand when needed.” #Microbiology #WomenInSTEM #HealthcareInnovation #EveryRoleisVital
