Thank you Geekdom for honoring us this morning at the Women’s History Month Appreciation Breakfast. Thank you for honoring me, for seeing me and for uplifting the work I am doing in our community with Hustle + Socialize Forever grateful. A line from my nomination: “Christina is working so hard year after year to elevate Latina women and Women of Color. She does so even when it's tough, because its engrained in her. What she's doing in the community and FOR the community is HUGE.” In tears ???????? this work is SO damn hard but here I am a decade later still standing still growing. The best is yet to come.

This morning, I had the incredible honor of being recognized at a breakfast for Women's Appreciation Month at Geekdom HQ in San Antonio, Texas. In just 8 months since arriving, I’ve hit the ground running, and it’s been a reminder of the power of diversity, networking, and intentional community-building. I am so thankful for the genuine community I’ve begun cultivating here in San Antonio and the chance to make an impact. Every day, we have the opportunity to create meaningful change and alter the trajectory of lives within our communities, while staying grounded in our core values and striving for excellence.
