We had a great time attending NRECA #TechAdvantage this week! It was great to connect with many current clients as well as have new conversations surrounding industry needs. A huge part of our GDS team was able to visit the conference and expo this year as it was in our hometown of Atlanta. Today we celebrate World Engineering Day, highlighting engineers' achievements around the world and improving the public understanding of the importance of engineering and technology. We're grateful for the engineers we have here at GDS and the contributions they make to our work.

The GDS team had a great time sharing about career opportunities with students and upcoming graduates at the Kennesaw State University STEM Career Fair. HR Generalist Grace Rice, PHR and current Hi-Line Engineering co-op and KSU student Erika A. W. were there to connect with attendees and spend some time with KSU mascot, Scrappy the Owl.

Hi-Line Engineering's Jason Settle will be presenting at the South Alabama Public Power Association (SAPPA) Annual Meeting in Point Clear, AL this week. If you're attending, make sure to catch his Friday presentation on UG Cable Installation.

The GDS team attended the Auburn University, Samuel Ginn College of Engineering Career Fair last week. It was great meeting the students and graduates on campus and sharing opportunities at GDS. In attendance - Grace Rice, PHR and Adam Craig

The GDS Team is in Charlotte, NC for the SERC Reliability Corporation Spring Reliability and Security Seminar. They will join SERC staff and industry experts for an immersive seminar packed with the latest insights on NERC Reliability Standards and bulk power system reliability.
