Understanding how to adapt to various communication styles—whether it's active listening, reflective listening, or empathetic engagement—helps students build strong relationships, solve problems effectively, and foster meaningful connections with colleagues, clients, and leaders. Gena Goolsby shared some incredible strategies on how to actively engage in conversations, evaluate information critically, and recognize when to adjust communication approaches to ensure a message is received clearly. The tools discussed today will empower our students to think more strategically and communicate with confidence, no matter the situation.
