?? Kiewit Wins Contract for Texas’ Inner Harbor Seawater Desalination Plant! ?? Corpus Christi has awarded Kiewit the progressive design-build contract for the Inner Harbor Seawater Desalination Treatment Plant, marking the city’s first step toward a drought-resistant water supply for its expanding population. Set to produce up to 30 million gallons of drinking water per day, this project will lessen the area’s dependence on rainfall-fed sources and support water security for seven counties. This win highlights Texas' broader $1B investment in water infrastructure as aging systems and rising demand push the state toward innovative solutions.
