Last weekend, I had the privilege of joining the National Auto Body Council, G&C Auto Body, CROZAT FAMILY FOUNDATION, Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), Rolling Hills Blue Star Moms, Chief Petty Officers Association-Golden Gate Chapter and the Guy Fieri Foundation in a meaningful initiative. With generous vehicle donations from USAA, three refurbished cars were presented to two amazing service members and one remarkable veteran and her daughter, helping them gain greater independence and mobility. The event was made even more special by the Guy Fieri Foundation, which provided fantastic meals for local military veterans, including special guests from the nearby Veterans Home of California, Yountville. Founded in 1884, this facility is the largest of its kind in the country and is home to aged and disabled veterans who served during WWII to present day. It was inspiring to see the community come together to celebrate and honor these heroes who have sacrificed so much for us. A very special thank you to everyone for making this day unforgettable and for supporting those who have given us so much. There were many moving parts to make this happen so huge kudos to the leadership teams at USCG Base Alameda & USCG TRACEN Petaluma, Christine Dickens Rebekah Nelson, Sean Z Serafin , Ray Watts, Jennifer Lucero, Carolann Wunderlin and Rory Wicks for their hustle and leadership. On this Veterans Day, it’s important to remember the impact we can make in showing gratitude to our veterans—not just today, but every day. It’s always a good day when we get out and see our teams faces in person! It gets more challenging as we grow, but part of the difference in being a family business is seeing the family!
What a killer day going around with my brothers and meeting our team members in so many locations. Hit the road at 6:30 AM and went to Lodi, Stockton, both Modesto shops and checked out the new Manteca shop opening later this year….. plus scouted out a few prospects??
