  • ?? March is Bisexual Health Awareness Month! ?? Did you know that bisexual+ people (bi, pan, fluid, queer, and other non-monosexual identities) make up a large portion of LGBTQ+ communities in the U.S.? Yet, they're often left behind when it comes to health care, research, and resources. Bisexual+ people frequently experience high rates of depression, anxiety, substance use, and even chronic health conditions like heart disease—but they receive only a tiny fraction of LGBTQ+ funding and services.* So, how do we change this? We push for better research, demand more funding for bisexual+ organizations, and call out biphobia when we see it. Health equity for bisexual+ people starts with visibility, advocacy, and action. Learn more at https://biresource.org/ Like and share with a Bi+ friend and show them some ??. *https://lnkd.in/e8djFBEh Media Description: “March is Bisexual+ Health Awareness Month. • CeCe McDonald should have been protected—but instead, she was punished. In 2011, she was attacked in a gender-based assault. Forced to defend herself, she survived—but the legal system failed her. CeCe was sentenced to 19 months in a men’s prison, a reality too many Black trans women face. Her case ignited a movement, drawing support from activists like Laverne Cox, who produced FREE CeCe! to shine a light on the violence trans women of color face every day. Watch the documentary at https://lnkd.in/gzGnBJB8 Thank you for celebrating Black History Month with us. Stay connected with The Center for more stories, history, and action all year long..
