Yesterday, on Earth Day, the Town of Northbridge officially opened the improved Mumford Riverwalk Boardwalk with a ribbon cutting ceremony. This project was originally envisioned by Barbara Gaudette in 1994 and first opened in the late '90s. Barbara, who passed in 2021, was honored with a moment of silence and heartfelt tributes recognizing her many contributions to the town. The new plaque includes a beautiful rendering of the riverwalk—drawn by Barbara herself. A special thank you to Sharon Ampagoomian, who helped lead the charge and had the honor of cutting the ribbon.
