Stephanie Wear, VP Aviation Development at London Gatwick, has been at Routes Asia in Perth, Australia this week. The steady growth of our route development in Asia means that this summer, there will be 122 weekly flights to the region from London Gatwick. Our long-haul connectivity is always growing, offering passengers more fantastic destinations in their own right, but also to hubs with excellent onward connectivity to the rest of the Asia-Pacific region. 2025 is an exciting year of growth for our airport, and if our Northern Runway plans are approved by the Government later this year, increased capacity will allow us to add many more airlines and destinations to the London Gatwick family.

International Women's Day at London Gatwick ?? Baroness Margaret Ford led an inspiring keynote speech at our annual International Women's Day event, hosted by Equal Plane, our gender equality Business Resource Group. Baroness Ford provided the audience with an insight into her career journey and how she became the first female Chair of London Gatwick. 200 people attended the event to celebrate Equal Plane's successes over the last year, including establishing a menopause working group, improving parental leave policies and launching a development programme empowering women to succeed. We were also proud to welcome Olympic champion Dame Katherine Grainger, who inspired the entire room with her story. We can't wait to see all the exciting things in store for Equal Plane over the next 12 months. #IWD2025
