We are excited to share that construction at Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative's (BREC) new headquarters is progressing smoothly and efficiently! In approximately six months, we have transitioned from breaking ground to erecting the physical structure. We commend the entire project team for their professionalism and commitment as we work towards the realization of this important facility for the great folks at BREC. Earlier this month, our team participated in the ground breaking ceremony for the Bedford Area School District (BASD) High School renovation project. Gatter & Diehl is proud to support the BASD in their vision to provide the students, staff, and faculty with state-of-the-art MEP designs including a highly advanced geothermal system which will be located underneath the new synthetic turf field. We can't wait to see this project come to life!

Construction progression continues for Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative's new headquarters in Bedford, PA! Yesterday the entire Gatter & Diehl Bedford office took the afternoon to walk the site together. It’s not everyday that the entire team gets to step foot on site and see all parts of their combined efforts and expertise begin to unfold.

Our team had the pleasure over the past month interacting with some incredible students during Fall Career Days at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, Pennsylvania College of Technology, and Penn State Altoona. Last week, our team had the opportunity to celebrate the extensive expansion and renovation project to Lutheran Senior Services' (LSS) Luther Crest Senior Living Community. Executives from LSS, the project team, and the surrounding community partook in seeing first hand the significant actions and investments made toward seniors in the Lehigh Valley area. Gatter & Diehl's engineers were responsible for designing Luther Crest's new commons area that includes a new and robust dining experience. An American-style bistro and grill, upscale dining area, private dining, pub, coffee shop, retail marketplace and other high-quality amenities were engineered to create a memorable experience for the residents at Luther Crest.

A little bit of heat couldn't stop us from celebrating Bedford Rural Electric Cooperative's groundbreaking ceremony last Friday! As construction is set to commence, we want to take the time to thank the entire design team comprised of EI Associates - Architects & Engineers, H.F. Lenz Company and FacTech Inc. for an incredible job of spear heading this state-of-the-art project. We also want to give a special thanks to the team at BEDFORD COUNTY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION for putting on an amazing ceremony as the turnout for the event was spectacular.
