GATT DC is a non-profit, non-partisan organization for LGBTQ+ professionals in international trade and development.

关于我们

Since its inception in 1986, during a time when discrimination against LGBT people in the workplace was common and legal, GATT DC has provided a safe, welcoming space for LGBT professionals and allies in international trade to learn more about legal, policy, and technical issues in this field, gain access to a network of other professionals, discover employment opportunities, and seek career advice from peers and mentors.? These activities have been accomplished primarily through monthly meetings in which an expert briefs members and engages in Q&A?on?a selected topic relevant to international trade.? GATT DC also regularly spearheads events with other trade-focused professional organizations in Washington, DC, including the Association of Women in International Trade (WIIT), the Washington International Trade Association (WITA), and the Customs and International Trade Bar Association (CITBA), and provides members with additional networking and?community service?opportunities. For more information, please contact the GATT DC Board at: [email protected].
