We were honored and humbled to have Gathered Round with a tremendous number of early childhood educators making time to show up for their own professional development at the Utah Preschool Conference at the Capitol in Salt Lake City. Educators participating in the rooms where decisions are made must become a regular happening as the world of inclusion teaches us- nothing about us without us. The stories were indeed powerful - from educators, from parents , from advocates in the community of care here which is making things in our field better everyday. We will each continue to craft stories with impact and continue telling them in places of power until we are heard - until change happens. Excited to represent GatherRound in Rochester, NY this week at the New York Workforce Association’s NYATEP Conference for workforce development. We presented the revolutionary work of Reinventing Child Care for the next 10 years as part of the Dutchess County Child Care Coalition! It was a packed house with many from all across New York looking to see how they too can make real and lasting change in this field and finally SOLVE the complex struggles of childcare! Feeling so hopeful for progress with these tremendous communities who are daring to make movement. Onward!
