As autumn sets in, we look back at our short but memorable time spent in Bordeaux, that marked the meaningful collaboration and successful completion of our test bench project for The Exploration Company. In just over a week, the propulsion teams from The Exploration Company and GATE Space: ?? Commissioned a fully operational test bench, ensuring the performance of all subsystems ?? Exchanged knowledge and experiences through training on the control system ?? Demonstrated the test stand’s capability with a successful hot fire of the Mistral thruster ?? As we are progressing on our project with the European Space Agency, we’re excited to update you on the latest technical steps that ensure that we meet project milestones. These include: ?? Crimping and soldering the wiring harness for the avionics ?? Complete fluid system assembly and disassembly to ensure appropriate fit ? Propellant line cleaning and lubricating for perfect swaging results ??? Upgrading the existing fuel tanks with new sensors and heaters ?? Fully reassembling the structure and integrating tanks, piping, wiring and avionics While we have several projects running concurrently – with a brand new being announced later ??– we make sure that our team is on top of all of them. ??
