Last week, I had the privilege of visiting my incredible GAT Teams in YXJ (Fort St. John, BC) and YQU (Grande Prairie, AB). The winter air was crisp (an understatement)—an icy -23°C without the wind chill—but that didn’t slow down our dedicated teams. Watching them work tirelessly, ensuring our customers reach their destinations safely and on time, was truly inspiring. It takes special people to work in aviation, especially on the ramp and in customer service. But it takes extra special people to brave the elements and perform open-bucket deicing in these extreme conditions. Seeing them in action gave me a whole new appreciation for their skill, dedication, and unwavering commitment to safety. I even got to celebrate a birthday, Happy Birthday Saran!! As the sun set over each airport, I was reminded of how grateful I am for the hard work and resilience of every team member. Here's our new Scottsdale team learning all about high-touch interior aircraft appearance from our very own Brian Hollen! We are excited to announce SCD as a new location with a brand new customer. This private aircraft operator is leveraging GAT Airline Ground Support's aircraft appearance experience both here and several new GAT markets to be announced soon! We are excited to announce that we have been selected by a major airline to begin catering operations in April in Austin, TX. GAT already serves several airlines in ground handling in AUS so we are ecstatic to bring our Sky Café brand to the catering market in a large scale facility as well! This is our fourth US based catering operation and we expect to add several more over the next few weeks! Well done Team Sky Café!

December 5th - The day SkyCafe YHZ launched daily service for Porter Airlines! The weather tried to get in the way, but our team would not back down, service was completed accurately and on time! Special thanks to the Porter team who spent many hours getting us prepared for our inaugural flight. The attention and support of our SkyCafe team from YYZ helped ensure our success. We have lots to celebrate this season - thank you for allowing us to serve you and we look forward to many more!
