Through the success of our Gastonia Concert Series, the Gastonia East Rotary Club proudly awarded $20,000 in community grants to 17 nonprofit organizations dedicated to making a difference in Gaston County. This brings our total contributions to over $245,000 in the past decade! ?? These funds help provide education, healthcare access, emergency services, and essential support to those in need. Have you heard? Local BBQ master Kyle Fletcher passed away last week. His business on Wilkinson Boulevard in Gastonia is always packed with cars filled with customers who stop in regularly to get their "fix" of BBQ or other favorite item from the menu (including the unbeatable burger). Our thoughts and prayers are with Kyle's family as we join them in mourning his loss to our community. Just for fun, please consider adding your favorite menu item from Kyle Fletchers in the comment section as a tribute to Kyle and also to his family who plans to continue running the restaurant in his honor.#gastonshines
