Resource adequacy and the frame 5. A decade ago, a 207FA AGP conversion was 30mw. That’s equivalent to a single frame 5. I run into heavily degraded frame 5 units (18mw) all the time. So how can I refresh a frame 5? Update the HPP and labyrinth seals. Flip the S2N. Weatherstrip the leaking horizontal joint (or get new casings). Reblade stators. Those machines are bullet proof and inexpensive. Maybe get the weedeater out and clean up around it and find some useful megawatts.
