We proudly recognized five outstanding individuals who tirelessly work through their organizations to transform the lives of youth and adults across Gary, Indiana. We salute each of them for a job well done! ????

???Igniting Hope and Opportunity with GCP!??? Hope can be the key difference between accepting or rejecting a narrative shaped by circumstance. When children are exposed to different opportunities, it ignites hope that they too can be part of mainstream society! What many take for granted in some circles are cherished and precious moments in others. I am incredibly proud that we have the chance to expose youth to experiences that many do not see up close and personal. A special thank you to Congressman Frank J. Mrvan for keynoting our gala fundraiser! GCP is dedicated to changing the narrative through community engagement, exposure, and unique experiences! GCP is happy to announce our 2024 community garden cleanup kickoff on Saturday April 20th at 10:30am. Through this event various nonprofits, agencies, businesses, and residents come together to share a common goal of establishing a place for youth to work and learn throughout the summer. We are working to build a safe space where community member can come and enjoy the beauty of our floral garden and find serenity in a local outdoor space.
