A Toast to Texas!
We’re thrilled to share some incredible news! On Monday, at the Omni Las Colinas, our very own Dan and Nancy Garrison, along with Curtis Osmond from III Forks Steakhouse, presented a massive check for $220,000 to the Amarillo Area Foundation. This generous donation was made possible through the collaborative efforts of our amazing partners at Good Bourbon for a Good Cause, III Forks Steakhouse, William Chris Vineyards, the Texas Distilled Spirits Association, and the Texas Whiskey Association.
This initiative, “Panhandle Proud,” is dedicated to providing urgent relief and long-term recovery for our farmers, ranchers, and families who faced the devastating wildfires in the Texas Panhandle. When the largest wildfire in Texas history broke out in February 2024, we knew we had to step up and support those who form the backbone of Texas agriculture.
As Dan said, “The Texas Panhandle is the great breadbasket of American agriculture. Garrison Brothers and other whiskey producers buy our grain from local producers and co-ops. The folks in the Panhandle are tough as nails, and we’re honored to help them rebuild.”
These much-needed funds were raised through fantastic events, including our Winner Winner Chicken Dinner in June, which alone raised over $100,000. Plus, the Panhandle to Table Benefit Dinners at III Forks brought in over $120,000, showcasing the best of Texas cuisine.
At Garrison Brothers, we believe in giving back to our community, and through Good Bourbon for a Good Cause, we’ve been able to make a meaningful impact for various causes—proving that good bourbon can truly make a difference.
Salud to everyone who contributed and supported our mission. Together, we’re rebuilding and uplifting our communities!
