The Sculpture Walk is Coming to St. Matthew's ElderGarten! This event, held along the Kenosha harbor, showcases ten inspiring works of art for all to enjoy. The current 2022-24 Biennial Sculpture Walk-Harbor Park exhibit was installed in September 2022, with the next group of sculptures scheduled for installation in September 2024. Tim Garland, who also serves on the Sculpture Walk board, was instrumental in securing the ElderGarten's inclusion in this esteemed event. Additionally, he and his wife Elizabeth generously donated the cost of the concrete pad, which was poured last week. The ElderGarten gardeners and board are eagerly anticipating this exciting addition to the space.

GAI has recently been commissioned to renovate the majority of the gardens at the historic Edgewater Hotel promenade extending from Wisconsin Place to Lake Mendota. The new design will feature formal English-style gardens flanked by billowy hydrangeas.?Evergreen “sentinels” throughout the landscape add interest and provide opportunity for holiday decor.?Other whimsical elements will provide a more dramatic entrance to the Edgewater Spa, including an Ipe deck and sculptural chaise lounge.? Phase 1 is set to begin in September 2024.
