Here are a few ways you can promote mind-body wellness: Find your favorite mindfulness practice: whether it be yoga, mindful eating, self-care, reading, exercise, or another activity, find an activity that will help you relax and relieve stress. Get a good night’s sleep: good sleep is foundational to lowering stress and keeping the body healthy. Allow your brain and body time to decompress, away from distractions and stressors. Create daily routines: routines create healthy habits; take some time each day, just for you, to do something that you love.

Here are a few tips to support you: Prioritize your well-being above all else. This includes maintaining a healthy diet, getting enough sleep, exercising regularly, and taking time to relax and unwind. Starting new traditions will help you create a fresh identity that is not tied to your past but is focused on a healthier, happier future. Seek extra support. Reach out to friends or family that understand your journey and can offer support along the way. Create an exit plan. Before attending any event, make sure you have a plan to leave if things become too overwhelming. This could mean having your own transportation or a trusted friend who can help you exit.?

Supporting someone who is grieving can be a delicate and challenging task. It's not uncommon to feel uncertain about what to say or do, fearing that your actions might inadvertently cause more pain. However, here are a few ways you can provide meaningful support during their difficult time: Express Nonverbal Support: Sometimes, words may fail to convey the depth of your empathy. In such moments, your nonverbal actions can speak volumes. Offer a comforting hug, hold their hand, or simply be present with them. Let your presence be a reassuring reminder that they are not alone on this journey of grief. Listen Actively: One of the most significant gifts you can give someone who is grieving is your willingness to listen. Allow them to share their thoughts, emotions, and memories, even if it means listening to stories they've recounted before. By actively listening, you validate their feelings and create a safe space for them to express their grief, which can be incredibly comforting and conducive to healing.
