Forest Hills School District brought a few high school students in to visit us yesterday. These students have a genuine interest in employment at GapVax - summer work, work study, and post grad careers. Plant tours are a great way to increase interest for work study and summer internship opportunities. When students get to see the work being done and the work environment, along with the finished product, it encourages them to learn more about the possibilities out there. GapVax been working with Forest Hills and The Challenge Program, Inc. (TCP) to educate students on careers in our area as well as resume and interview skills. This has been a great learning experience all around.
