This week, our 2025 Education Policy Fellowship Program (EPFP) Fellows immersed themselves in the dynamic world of federal education policy at the Institute for Educational Leadership's 61st Washington Policy Seminar in Washington, D.C. This annual event provides participants a front-row seat to the intricacies of national education trends and policymaking. Throughout the seminar, our Fellows engaged in enriching sessions that deepened their understanding of the federal role in education, participated in role-play exercises simulating legislative decision-making, and connected with key players on Capitol Hill. These experiences have equipped them with valuable insights and skills to advocate effectively for equitable education policies in Georgia. #GeorgiaEPFP #WPS2025 #InformingLeadersImprovingEducation
