The evening was also an occasion to recognize our eight non-profit grant recipients, as well as the five law students who received the GLF Hemanth Digumarthi Public Interest Scholarships. Nearly 50 gathered , informally noshing on pizza and beer, while celebrating the tremendous work of Georgia's non-profit organizations whose work benefits our #AAPI and immigrant communities. We also listened to several of the law students who shared how they spent their summer internships. Many of the grant recipients and scholars found tremendous fellowship and affinity with one another, sparking and incubating conversations for future collaborative work. In the words of Judge Alvin T. Wong (unfortunately able to join the evening): "Work Hard. Do Good. Give More!" Our work would not be possible without the generosity of our Donors: The Digumarthi & Harrykissoon Harrykissoon Families, Southern Company Gas Foundation, Georgia Power Company Foundation, the John & Rosemary Brown Foundation, the UPS Foundation, Theresa Wynn Roseborough, and so many other individual donors.
