?? INTRODUCTING: SUPER SOUR SKULLS ?? Launching a new product into the world is such a special feeling. Especially with products like ours, which can take years to get from concept to launch. I love my candy sour. But like, ulcer-inducing sour. 2 years ago, as we were testing flavors we came across a couple incredible citrus flavors that we wanted to build a pack around. Who knew that Tangerine makes an incredible gummy!? We landed on a Grapefruit, Tangerine, and Yuzu pack, and started discussing shapes. These citrus flavors brought a certain sourness in and of themselves, so we had the idea of skulls to highlight the tanginess of the flavors. With the skull shape in mind, we had another thought - what if we take it step further, give these a double hit of acid, and make them Super Sour. It was an immediate yes from me, and we knew it would resonate with our customers as we've heard from certain sour-lovers among them over the years that our sours just aren't sour enough. Last week, we launched Super Sour Citrus Skulls as a limited edition flavor. In just 3 days we've seen the product take off, gain virality on TikTok, and we're almost sold out. We titled the launch campaign "For Sour Lovers Only," a nod to the cheeky creative we built around it and a warning to stay away if you can't truly handle the sour. I'm so proud of the product we launched + the creative we built around it. As always, none of this would exist without our incredible team - starting with my cofounder and our COO Emily Gu, our chef partner Elizabeth Falkner, our food science partner Michelle Schwenk, our manufacturing partners, and the creatives we work with to bring all our products and campaigns to life, including Gander and Mike McVicar, Shrey and Lexi Greenberg on content and video, Katherine DePaolo on design, and Gabrielle Barron managing anything and everything in between.
