Wrapping up an incredible 2024 Tech Week journey across SF and the Bay Area! Reflecting on these weeks, I’m reminded why the Bay Area continues to be such a magnetic place for innovation and growth. The commitment and relentless drive to build value here is palpable, and the focus and drive of those in the tech ecosystem are nothing short of inspiring ??. Since my last visit, I’m even more convinced that the Bay Area’s essence is all about the people. The level of talent and dedication I encountered pushed me to raise my own standards, showing me just how high the bar really is. Competing and building alongside some of the best in the world is both humbling and energizing—and it’s a reminder that the journey toward excellence never stops. ?? Lima Tech Week 2024: Peru's innovation ecosystem in the spotlight fot the world ?? As Chair of Lima Tech Week 2024, I’m so grateful and proud to see how far the Peruvian tech ecosystem has come. When I started my journey in 2013 with my first startup (total failure by the way), there were only a handful of events, very few players, and almost no startups or investors. To witness the growth over the past 10 years has been truly amazing and encouraging. This year, we brought together together top founders, investors, and leaders to continue driving innovation and collaboration. I’m incredibly bullish on Peruvian entrepreneurs building the future and scaling into major markets like the US, Mexico, and Brazil. Excited to help this movement and shape the next decade of tech in Peru along other great peruvian entrepreneurs, investors and actors. #LimaTechWeek 2024 had more than +40 events, +6k attendees to the different events, +5K visits to the website, almost 1k subscribers to the newsletter, we grew from 200 to more than +1k followers in social media but the most important things: high energy, enthusiasm and collaboration.
