I would like to once again thank all the speakers, moderators and attendees of the IGSA Technical Summit in Phoenix. As I prepare to board a plane, I can’t help but reflect on the two amazing days we just had. We had great speakers, thought provoking presentations, somewhat scary prognostications, and practical, available-now technology solutions. #GSATS 2024 #IGSA CGS Events Regulators go down to the plain! This last conference surprised us all! wow what a dynamic!. These days were really amazing, but the feeling that the members of so important Gaming Boards "came down to the plain" to be closer to the audience and made us part of this round table and conversation, have showed us that we all are part-of, and the goals should be the same for everyone. Kicking off the afternoon portion of our programming today are Tonya Roedell, President of Broader Reach Consulting, LLC and Michelle Prince-Glenn, Head of Strategy and Operstions at CentralAMS (CAMS - Central Account Management System) speaking on Jackpot Defense and how Biometrics, AI and Advanced Cybersecurity are protecting casinos from fraud and cyber attacks!

Our next speaker is George Zaloom of The Las Vegas Whaling Company, discussing the application of the Metaverse to casinos!

Our next speaker is David Fica Jaque, Founder and CEO of Land Vegas Group discussing virtual reality in new generations for brick & mortar and online casinos!

Day 2 of GSATS - FOCUS: Future Tech is underway with our keynote address from Nick Farley, President and Co-Founder of ECLIPSE COMPLIANCE TESTING (ECT) highlighting how the speed of innovation impacts regulations and compliance testing!

Mark Pace and International Gaming Standards Association I enjoyed giving the keynote at Harrah's Ak-Chin and especially enjoyed the questions from the very engaged audience. The topic around technology advancements and what is happening in the world is near and dear to my heart and one that the industry need to carefully consider. Thank you to all those that provided input with different ideas into the topic it helped me to shape the narrative. Arthur Rogers it was fun to catch up and talk about that fabled fishing trip, we sure can laugh about it now (it was not funny then). Thank you to Hanna McCall for helping build the material your input was invaluable; I think we need to write a few chapters around this one. Thank you to Ralph Thomas, Ph.D. for the hours of brainstorming on the topic. Thank you to Fred A. Buro for pushing me into the patron facing business in gaming.
