The Global Automotive & Mobility Challenge, or GAMIC, is an annual competition for early-stage automotive and mobility companies with new technologies. It was created to identify innovative companies, cultivate new technologies and solutions, and hasten their adoption into the automotive industry. Participants get exposure to over 15,000 mobility experts at the World Finals during the SAE World Congress WCX in April; the chance to win more than $300,000 in commercialization acceleration services and cash; and facilitated introductions to the industry’s top decision-makers and influencers. Since 2008 GAMIC AWARD WINNERS have raised more than $100 Million USD in funding. GAMIC is a sponsored activity of the MI Innovation Alliance, a 501-c-3 corporation. 2025 DETROIT AUTOSHOW & AUTOMOBILI-D - Start Up Event Automotive & Mobility Startups - Apply by October 25, 2024 For Consideration Now in its 7th year, AutoMobili-D will feature exhibits previewing the latest in mobility innovations from global companies in addition to the startup community.?AutoMobili-D, together with the Startup Arena, will be the backdrop for the returning Mobility Global Forum, a two-day symposium of thought leadership featuring industry trailblazers, mobility disruptors and tech innovators. APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN to tech startups seeking to participate in the Startup Arena.?The Startup Arena will be located within the AutoMobili-D technology showcase and will be featured during Industry Days, Wednesday, Jan. 15 and Thursday, Jan. 16. Startups interested in being considered for the Startup Arena are encouraged to visit and apply via the application form.?Startups must meet specific criteria in order to be considered, including revenue of less than $10M, an employee roster under 100, investment thresholds and length in business.? Exhibit opportunities are limited, and applications must be submitted by Friday, Oct. 25, 2024.?Startups selected to participate will be contacted in November 2024.
