Film Room, another new AI-powered feature from GameChanger, is now LIVE for youth basketball coaches. ?? With the help of computer vision, Film Room condenses hours of footage into actionable moments, addressing a critical challenge we uncovered: youth coaches want game insights but lack the time, budget, or staff to do it effectively. Film Room changes that by essentially giving every youth coach their own personal film coordinator—for free. As Rutger’s Men’s Head Basketball Coach, Steve Pikiell, told us, he “believes film remains one of the most underutilized tools in youth sports today.” ?? Last week, GameChanger was proud to see Henry Street Settlement's Athletics and Community Enrichment Services program (A.C.E.S.) receive a $25,000 grant from our parent company, DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation, as part of the 10th-anniversary celebration of their incredible #SportsMatter program! GameChanger teammates nominated Henry Street after partnering with them numerous times and witnessing their incredible impact on the New York community. With over 125 years of service to NYC’s Lower East Side, Henry Street’s A.C.E.S. program provides local youth opportunities to thrive through sports, mentorship, and academic support. This grant will help them expand these critical services to even more young athletes.
