On Tuesday, November 26th, we held a Thanksgiving feast here at the Galveston County Animal Resource Center for all the animals without a family during this Thanksgiving holiday. We successfully organized this event thanks to our social media followers and supporters. We received prepared Thanksgiving dishes such as turkey, chicken, sweet potatoes, pumpkin puree, green beans, carrots, and peas, along with monetary donations— enough to feed the 200+ animals in our care. Our incredible volunteers and staff ensured that every animal was fed and that not a single bite went to waste. We’re beyond grateful for the support of our community and volunteers. You made this Thanksgiving one to remember. It’s truly the gift of giving.
