The key might be responsible adoption and building trust. Let’s hear what experts and executives like Stephanie Lahr, MD, CHCIO, Nate Perry-Thistle , Anurag Mehta and Michael Young think about this and where they see AI making the biggest impact. President Trump has delayed the TikTok ban. He stated, ‘We have 90 days to make a decision. If I negotiate a deal for the United States, I think we should get half, like a joint venture. We’ll see what happens. That’s just one of many ideas I’ve had.’ #Trump #executiveorder #tiktokban

Today is Entrepreneurs' Day! While entrepreneurs are busy developing cutting-edge AI applications for healthcare, a 2022 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report reveals that 70% of healthcare organizations still rely on fax machines to send or receive care records. Isn’t that interesting? While we’re making advancements in many areas with technology, much of the healthcare industry still relies on outdated technology that’s scarcely used elsewhere. This is a fascinating topic, and we recommend reading Brendan Keeler’s article where he discusses the challenges of replacing fax machines in healthcare. (Link in the comment) #Galliot

It’s wild that we still use fax machines for patient data while companies spend a fortune on HIPAA, SOC2, and other standards. Secure the fax line? Makes zero sense. ???? well said Nikhil!

i think there should be a serious consideration in banning the fax machine to transmit healthcare information Force information exchange to be moved through a modern standard and essentially force interoperability to happen, right now fax is just relied on as a janky workaround
