Happy Thanksgiving! As we count our blessings this holiday we will be adding you, our extended Gallin family of colleagues and clients, to the list of what we are truly grateful for.

Happy Anniversary to Eric Ziegler, Director of Estimating, celebrating 15 years at Gallin! After graduating with a degree in accounting, Eric worked in the finance sector for 10+ years. But the pull to Gallin and the construction industry was undeniable. “I’m a 4th generation Ziegler here at Gallin, so it’s in my DNA.” Asked what he enjoys about the work, his answer came easily. “The results are tangible – building something you can see, and touch, and feel – it’s very satisfying.” He also loves the family feeling, and not just because of the many Zieglers who came before him. “It’s a great group of people, helpful and knowledgeable. And if I want to talk to the owner, he’s right down the hall.” Will any of his three daughters become part of the 5th generation of Zieglers? “It’s too early to tell!” If they’re as skilled and dedicated as their father, we can only hope.

Gallin worked with a stunning design from the architects at TPG Architecture building out an impressive full-floor office for Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions at 225 Liberty Street. Sitting high above Battery Park City, the open plan concept provides breathtaking 360-degree views of Lower Manhattan. Every kind of meeting space is accounted for, from an imposing boardroom that accommodates a table for 26, to mid-size meeting rooms, huddle areas, cozy booths, and single occupancy spaces. Impeccable millwork runs throughout, from the elevator lobby, into reception, and continuing down a passageway into the grand café. This spacious pantry and gathering spot features large format stone flooring and gleaming marble counters, a custom wood slat ceiling that complements the cabinetry, all offset by a garden wall that adds warmth, color, and a touch of nature.
