What a game! The Gallagher Chiefs went head-to-head with The Blues on Saturday, securing a nail-biting 32-31 win. As part of the Kids Round, the Gallagher Chiefs took the field as Black Panther, while the Blues suited up as Spider-Man, adding an extra layer of excitement to the match. Some of our Gallagher people, including Sarah Harrison and her family, were there to soak up the action. We were also thrilled to give away a signed Marvel x Gallagher Chiefs jersey to Andrew Ertel—congratulations!

Gallagher Security's Senior Communications Specialist, Rachel Akbar, has been at the helm of their second Trends Report, which she says is gaining attention around the world. "Last year, we learned that multiple channel partners were using our report to inform their strategies for the next financial year. The report helps organisations get a comprehensive view of the industry, confirm their observations, and incorporate insights into their strategic planning," Rachel says. "By analysing real-world data across industries and regions, we provide actionable insights that helps our partners step back from day-to-day challenges and see the bigger picture—how threats evolve, how industries adapt, and where the market is heading." Rachel says the report's distinctive approach sets it apart from other publications in the industry. "Rather than just focusing on technology adoption, we explore the human behaviours driving security decisions. This is particularly valuable in an industry as diverse as ours, which spans from small businesses to federal government facilities. “The most resonant theme in this year's report was the strong focus on people. Our survey participants consistently emphasised relationships, partnerships, trust, and support as critical factors when deciding on a security partner.” ?? Curious to learn more? We're excited to support Earn as you Learn, a new pilot programme designed to give high school leavers hands-on manufacturing experience while earning a qualification. Run in collaboration with Advancing Manufacturing Aotearoa and Waikato’s leading manufacturers, the 30-week programme bridges the gap between formal education and practical experience. Students spend two days a week studying at Wintec - Waikato Institute of Technology and three days gaining paid, on-the-job training at manufacturing companies. Gallagher has four Earn as you Learn?students. Mia Duffin and Joshua Rule, both school leavers, will complete two semester-long rotations with us and a third with another manufacturer. Stevie Knox and Tee Taylor, experienced Gallagher production team members, will complete all three rotations with us—gaining a qualification while also helping shape future training programs. Global People Lead Christina Ogg sees this initiative as a win-win. “It enables us to upskill our own team members and help them get a qualification at the end of their study. And, on a broader scale, we want to generate enthusiasm amongst school leavers for the range of career paths in manufacturing. It’s all about growing the pipeline of manufacturing talent in New Zealand.” Read more on our Blog: https://lnkd.in/gUzGAkKP

Gallagher Animal Management Chief Executive, Lisbeth Jacobs, has been busy connecting with team, customers, and partners across North America.
?? ?? ?? ? From -11°C to +30°C ?? ?? ?? ?? Two weeks, multiple stops, countless conversations, and a 40-degree temperature swing—what a trip! This journey through #Canada and the #USA has been all about connecting—with our incredible Gallagher Animal Management teams, valued customers, and trusted partners. It started in Owen Sound, where -11°C and heavy snow prevented me from reaching our warehouse and catching up with Dave Heyns and his team—a shame, but the winter landscape made up for it (??). We met with StrongBó Agritech, the team behind our #AutoWeigher, which continues to go from strength to strength. A great visit, exchanging ideas on optimizing manufacturing and distribution to meet global demand (??). The Canadian team was next—three new faces since my last visit, all bringing fresh energy and a strong focus on #connected technology. Demand for eShepherd is surging also in Canada, and we discussed how to improve availability and support. A quick stop in Chicago to meet our customer #RedStone Supply reinforced the importance of eCommerce—giving customers choice. Whether in-store or online, we’re committed to being where our customers need us. In #KansasCity our North American HQ, we reflected on the past year and tackled the road ahead. Resilience is key—strengthening our supply chain, expanding product categories, and ensuring our connected solutions don’t just provide data but #realinsights that drive profitability and productivity. In #Arkansas, we visited our manufacturing partner, where we’re bringing the production of USA-specific #insulators closer to our customers. Resilience in action—not chasing the last cent, but reducing our carbon footprint and staying agile. Seeing the custom-built robots in action was impressive (??). In #Texas we visited a ranch using our eShepherd neckbands and met the most docile, good-natured cows (??). The rancher raved about #virtualfencing—especially since their wedding venue guests don’t want to see fences! A great use case we hadn’t considered. At #CattleCon25 in #SanAntonio, the highlight was, as always, our people—catching up with our team, engaging with customers like FenceFast, and brainstorming over a great steak on how to #simplify our business to serve our customers even better. That’s what we’re known for, and that’s what we’ll continue to focus on. Now, sitting at #Houston airport in +30°C heat, I’m reflecting on what truly sets Gallagher apart. In a world where #AI will play a bigger role, it’s the strength of human connections that will continue to be our biggest advantage. **People make the difference. And our people are simply amazing.** (A big thank you to my amazing travel buddies....Doug Jones Michele Corso Sharl Liebergreen Michael Koronis Scott Majors and thanks for the hospitality Micheal McInerney and Marty Metzger)
