For the past few months, I've had the distinct privilege to serve as Galileo ??'s interim Head of CS. Vikram and his co-founders have built a product, a team, and the mojo to tackle a challenge that is only increasing in size and complexity. Enterprises shouldn't be forced to make a YOLO-like leap of faith building and launching GenAI applications. ?Some personal news ? tomorrow is my last day at LaunchDarkly, and I'll be headed onto another spot in the galaxy and joining forces with the team at Galileo ?? as a Sr Developer Experience Engineer. I've spent the last year and some change working in the feature management space on a tool that's saved my ?? time, and time again. Special thanks to?Brian Rinaldi?Morgan W.,?B.J.,?Peter McCarron,?Ahmed Qadri,?Tony Trinh,?Ember Stevens, Joni Rustulka,?Matt DeLaney, and?Cody De Arkland?for not only bringing me on board but also serving as the first close-knit collaborators whom I've had the joy of working with during my time here (can you say terrific, it's time for toggle tunes 5x fast?) If there's one thing I've learned more than anything else during this role, it's to lean into my curiosity. With <gestures to everything happening in the data/ML/AI space> and my past experience working with Chris Hoge, Lauren Sell, Patrick Kelley, Nikolai Liubimov, and Nicholaus Halecky at HumanSignal — I found myself missing the space and itching to dive back in. After conversations with Vikram Chatterji, Atindriyo Sanyal, Conor Bronsdon, Osman Javed, Quique Lores, and the rest of the Galileo ?? team — I knew that they were tackling a problem that is increasingly important in this ever-growing AI-fueled world. I could go on and on (y'all know me, brevity is NOT my strength! ?? ), but thank you to everyone who's lent a listening ear, taught me something new, enabled my geeking-out, or shared with me what they're excited about. ? quick highlights over the past year: - overhauling the demos alongside Ahmed and Tony - building new experimentation tutorials and resources - bonding over events with Steve Zegalia, Allison Pepper Rogers, Lani Beadle, Kathy Wilkes, CMP, DES, Erin Welke and so many more - working alongside Ember Stevens, Yeesheen Yang, Matthew, Molly Jones, Sarah Day, Christina Chen to improve the developer experience - having a teammate that's someone who has joined the ranks of being a close friend, Tilde Thurium ?? - learning from amazing humans like Claire Vo, Rob Mcdonald, Mike Zorn, Daniel OBrien, Tom Totenberg, Cynan de Leon and Ario Jafarzadeh - SO MANY GET SHIP DONE PUNS!!!! ?? I could keep going, but let's be honest, we're hitting a point where even I think that this LinkedIn Post is getting long. ?? The world is small, people are good —?and I'm so fortunate to have crossed paths with so many great people at this role. Now — off to the next adventure in my personal workplace sitcom arc, where I will hopefully get more laughs than groans in the workplace Slack.
