To receive a food box, please register and sign up for the FIND Senior Food Box distribution. To register, please call Galilee Center at 760-396-9100. You will need to provide ID and proof of income.

We're excited to share that our Lady of Guadalupe shelter expansion is set to be completed in November and will significantly expand our capacity to serve those in need. This 6,000-square-foot facility will double our overnight accommodations for a total of 150 beds. This expansion has been made possible through the generous support of our community, Riverside County, organizations, and private donors, who have brought our vision to life and provided immense blessings to the East Coachella Valley. THURSDAYS 3:45 pm - 5:00 pm: Help load food boxes into the vehicles’ trunks. Fast-Paced. Must be able to lift approx. 25lbs. MON - SAT, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm: Help in store, warehouse, and food storage. On July 29, 2010, Gloria, Claudia and 12 energetic volunteers stationed themselves under the shade of a tree in Thermal, California to provide canned food baskets. To their amazement, they served approximately 100 families on that very first day. Since that time, Galilee Center has continued to evolve, helping over 12,000 people each year, among them 5,500 children. We are grateful to be celebrating our 14-year anniversary and thank our supporters, volunteers, staff and donors for helping us grow and serve more people every year.
