"Not too long ago, low VOC carpet and paints were difficult to source. Today, they are ubiquitous. Developers, architects and contractors demanded these materials and manufacturers responded and they are de facto standards today—boosting occupant wellbeing and productivity. We are doing the same thing today, helping suppliers see the value of future-proofing their operations by creating lower carbon materials." What’s one material innovation you hope to see become a new industry standard?

??Had so much fun leading a My Green Earth, Inc. lesson, alongside Dajawn Williams at my son’s elementary school. We taught ESL students about native vs. invasive plants and the role they play in our environment! We explored Georgia’s white oak, medicinal naturalized dandelions, learned why poison ivy is actually an important food source for birds vs. kudzu, which has taken over landscapes. The kids were so engaged and excited to be outside learning about the biodiversity right in their school playground. I had the honor to translate the lesson prepared by My Green Earth, Inc. in Spanish. It’s always inspiring to see young minds get curious about nature. You never know—one of these students might be shaping the future of sustainable land management.
