Even though the event had to be cut short, we had an amazing time at the annual JA JobSpark career expo this week! The conversations we had with students were impactful, and it was heartwarming to see students excited about their futures. Just like last year, we taught students about the importance of cybersecurity and best practices for engaging with social media. We wanted students to start thinking more about how to protect their information online and secure their social media accounts. Several students shared with us how proud they were to have parents who worked in Cybersecurity, and a couple of students asked for more advice on how to secure their Instagram accounts! We even had one student ask our Creative Marketing Specialist about graphic design and his career. Those moments prove the importance of events like JA JobSpark. These events give students opportunities to network and refine their communication skills. The expo is also a fantastic opportunity for students to explore different career paths and dive into fun, educational activities. Learning new things is crucial for personal and professional growth, as it broadens one's perspective. Thank you, Junior Achievement of Central Indiana for everything you do for students. Way to #MakeanImpact!
