The past three days have been incredibly exciting for the Gachina Team! We had the privilege of working with the amazing teams at STIHL USA, Flagship Visuals Co., and our long-time friends at Gardenland Power Equipment on this fantastic production. A huge thank you to our Gachina Crews for stepping out of their comfort zones and in front of the camera, despite their busy schedules. From San Francisco to Campbell, we shared industry stories, tested out awesome new electric power tools, and met so many wonderful people. ??I am a breast cancer survivor. I have been in remission for over ten years. My prognosis is excellent because I made sure I scheduled my mammogram every year. The cancer was caught very early. I had a course of radiation and took a pill for 5 yrs. I still schedule that yearly mammogram. Being uncomfortable for 5 minutes is worth the effort. I am excited to announce that with the support of McGriff and several key sponsors, I am hosting a Charity Golf Tournament at The Club at Ruby Hills, On November 18th. The focus of this annual event will be #Menshealth, and the inaugural tournament will be focused on Suicide Prevention. Last year over 1.6 million Americans attempted suicide.?Men account for almost 4x these statistics, and it is the number one cause of death for men under 50 years old. This topic is personal to me. In 2016, I was diagnosed with severe depression.?A diagnosis that I ignored for several years after. Eventually, the thoughts of suicide became a normal occurrence for me. I was alone, losing a battle, and even those closest to me, didn’t realize the darkness that was winning. Luckily, I found the support I needed, began speaking of my struggles, and received the treatment I needed to not only survive, but thrive. But this isn’t about me- It’s about coming together as a community and using our resources to help others that are still in a day to day fight.?So please help me make this event a success.
