For the breweries in the back! ?? “Draft is an opportunity area for craft brewers who focus on it. Especially in an environment where many draft lines are sitting empty, the breweries that can connect with customers through draft have an opportunity for growth within the space,” - Matt Gacioch, staff economist for Brewers Association, via North Bay Business Journal #draftbeer

We get it, "uncertain times." We can only control what we can control. To be fair, historically, the only time we have been in the business of waiting is when we've been at the mercy of factors bigger than any of us and delayed raising prices until the last possible moment. Conversely, we also take liberties LOWERING them as soon as we can. But alas, with this new batch of tariffs (??♂?), one can assume prices will experience an increase. So, with that, what are YOU still waiting for?
We're closely monitoring the proposed 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum, which could affect aluminum prices and impact U.S.-based manufacturers of steel products, including kegs, steel tanks, brewhouses, and building materials. Here's what craft brewers need to know: https://bit.ly/3WR1gcc

We cannot stress this enough: The on-premise experience makes all the difference. Operate yours (and manage your people—the faces of your taproom) like you give a damn—because your success and our industry depend on it. ???? How Breweries Can Survive Amid Industry Challenges ???? 2024 marked a sobering milestone for the craft beer industry: for the first time in 20 years, more breweries closed than opened. This is more than a statistic—it’s a wake-up call to reexamine how breweries manage their costs and ensure their long-term survival. Here’s the reality: ? Ingredient costs are rising. ? Labor costs are climbing. ? Rents are skyrocketing. ? But the price consumers are willing to pay for a pint isn’t budging. To survive—and thrive—breweries need to cut costs. But hear me out: I’m not talking about cutting hours or laying off employees. I’m talking about taking a hard look at every expense. Recently, I helped a brewery stuck in an expensive pay-per-fill keg agreement. By switching to a standard lease, they’re on track to save hundreds of thousands of dollars over the three-year lease. Once they own their kegs, those savings will grow even more. After we analyzed their service plan, it was clear that the expensive "keg retrieval" service wasn’t justifiable. This kind of cost savings was game-changers for his business. And it can be for yours, too.?If you're curious about how G4 Kegs can help you do the same, let’s talk. #CraftBeer #BrewingIndustry #BreweryBusiness #CostSavings #G4Kegs #BeerEconomics #SustainableBrewing
