G3 was asked to develop a Beta Site for a new division of this national Financial Services Firm in Norwalk, CT. Our services included program verification, planning studies and full design services, as well as some decorative accessories. The design team was charged with working with a foundation of established corporate standards but with modifications to allow this new division to express their focus on the travel industry. They also wanted to have an architectural nod to the “waterfront warehouse” vernacular of the surrounding neighborhood. ? The resulting design employs elements of industrial flavor with a sophisticated finish palette, keeping in mind acoustical concerns for an open office environment. G3 is excited to announce that Brooks Slocum has joined our team as a Principal! Brooks Kendall Slocum, AIA, is an accomplished architect with over 35 years of experience in design, production, and project management. Licensed in New York, New Jersey, and other states, Brooks has led a wide range of projects, including life sciences buildings, master-planned campuses, multifamily housing, and mixed-use developments. Before joining G3, Brooks was a Principal at SGA, where he grew the New York office from a single employee to a team handling over 40 active projects. His career includes work with renowned firms such as Polshek Partnership (now Ennead Architects), Hellmuth Obata + Kassabaum (HOK), Pei Cobb Freed & Partners ( I.M. Pei), and Hardy Holzman Pfeiffer Associates. Known for aligning design excellence with project goals, Brooks has been a leader in integrating advanced technologies like Revit into architectural practice. His portfolio features significant projects such as the Hutchison Metro Center in the Bronx, the Arsenal on The Charles in Massachusetts, and the University of Michigan Biomedical Science Research Building. He also led the renovation of the Hall of Science Museum in Queens and most recently the transformation of the Hato Rey Center in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Brooks is now focusing on project conversions in the New York Metro area, including medical office buildings and multifamily housing. Brooks is eager to continue his work at G3 Architects as a Principal, bringing his expertise in delivering high-quality, client-focused design solutions. Educated at the University of Southern California, Brooks is known for his ability to balance visionary design with practical execution, ensuring every project meets and exceeds expectations.

G3 brought this new location for Andrew Carmellini's iconic Bar Primi to life with the help of G3's Landscape Architecture director Sam Lawrence, NoHo Hospitality Group, Vornado Realty Trust, interior designer MeyerDavis, and Vanguard Construction & Co.. Located just across the street from New York's Moynihan Station, the vaulted space evokes its warehouse origins with raw terra cotta block walls and exposed concrete and steel. Through rich colors and soft touches, the space glows with a welcoming ambience. The adjacent courtyard embodies three separate rooms with lush landscaping and cozy conversation nooks.

G3 is happy to share that we have received a Merit award from the American Society of Landscape Architects for our work on Radio City Music Hall's Radio Park.?G3’s Director of Landscape Architecture, Sam Lawrence, led the design and implementation effort for this landmark project as a member of his predecessor firm, HMWhite.
