Cycletime reduction projects can be very challenging… starting simple understanding how the various parts of the value stream come together, influence each other. Then setting up measurements at every node to expose the current condition…multiple gemba observations to identify what make it tick… and endless discussions to implement what moves the needles….Project sponsors become impatient… it takes alot of perseverance… yet when the needles start moving the feeling outweighs all the efforts.
