Congratulations to the Concrete and Masonry Division for their Safety Award presented by the General Building Contractors Association (GBCA) Philadelphia! G.C. Zarnas received the award for their safe practices while replacing a 13,000 square ft elevated parking deck with new concrete and metal decking. Rodin Place Property Manager John Romeo says “Safety is paramount with G.C. Zarnas. We have a lower-level parking lot that we rent on a monthly basis to the community. In order to access this parking area vehicles needed to drive directly under Target’s surface deck that was being demolished and replaced. Zarnas kept a flag man in the area during all phases of demo. This allowed us to keep the parking lot open during the duration of this project and not lose any income or inconvenience our parkers by having to re-locate them. I highly recommend G.C.
