FXRY just wrapped up our first Pop-Up at Hoste in West Seattle, and it’s been a resounding success! Seeing the enthusiasm for the concept of mending to extend the life of clothing and providing the perfect fit has been truly inspiring. It’s more than a fix; it’s a fashion revolution. People are embracing a mindset shift, willing to invest in repairs and fits that even sometimes surpasses their original clothing spend - choosing some extra stitching instead of ditching. ?? The joy brought to individuals receiving their cherished items back, repaired and ready to be worn again, has been overwhelming. I found myself welling up with tears multiple times this past month witnessing these moments. As we explore partnerships with businesses, the immediate excitement is amazing, but my favorite part is when we’ve wrapped up the formal conversation. Then, there’s a shift in tone, and the person says to me in a whisper, ‘You know I have a bag of clothes that needs some fixing too.’ That moment, right there, gives me goosebumps. We all have that closet stash – items we can’t part with but don’t know where to take for repairs & enhancements. Soon, you’ll have a place! In just 4 days of intakes, we fitted and fixed 136 garments, a race bib belt, and even a Raggedy Ann doll. This is just the beginning. We’re thrilled to extend our services to all of Seattle when we launch online in the Spring and, eventually, nationwide. ?? Exciting News from FXRY! ?? While our website is in the works, we've kicked off with Pop-Ups in Seattle boutiques, starting with the fantastic Hoste in West Seattle! We're thrilled to share that the response has been phenomenal since we started a couple of weeks ago! ?? Here's the lowdown: ?? Drop off your clothes that need a good fit or fix. ??? Every Saturday in January from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. ?? 7-14 day turnaround ??? Pick up at Hoste within the next two Saturdays or opt for delivery. ?? Can’t make it to the store? No problem!
