Our founder, Esthefany Odicio, recently embarked on a medical mission trip to the Peruvian Amazon. This endeavor epitomizes our unwavering commitment to fostering positive change and making meaningful contributions to diverse communities across various regions. Esthefany's participation in this mission trip underscores our organization's dedication to serving those in underserved areas, particularly in remote regions such as the Peruvian Amazon. We are immensely proud of Esthefany for her exemplary leadership and compassion in joining this mission. Her unwavering commitment to uplifting communities aligns seamlessly with our organizational values, and we are deeply grateful for her ongoing dedication to making a tangible difference in the world. As we continue our endeavors to support and uplift diverse communities, we draw inspiration from Esthefany's remarkable example. Rest assured, we remain steadfast in our efforts to create positive change wherever we venture. Here's to many more impactful initiatives and contributions in the future!
I recently had the privilege of embarking on a mission with Peruvian American Medical Society - SIA – Selva in Action (SIA) to Iquitos, Peru. This journey was not solely a volunteer endeavor but rather a personal one, as it allowed me to return to my roots and contribute to the country where I was born. SIA Mission took place in a remote village in the Peruvian Amazon, Rio Momon. SIA collaborated closely with healthcare personnel, volunteers, military and naval teams for this successful operation. We successfully provided medical service to 1,200 patients from 26 different remote communities in a week! Witnessing the resilience and fortitude of the community in the face of adversity was humbling, and contributing to their welfare was a privilege beyond measure. As I reflect on this experience, I am filled with immense gratitude for the opportunity and unwavering support from every person involved and the community we build within our SIA 2024 team! I look forward to continuing my journey of serving Peru with love, compassion, and dedication. FWD Clinical Research Here are some photos to share. #SIA2024 #PAMS #PERU #IQUITOS
