In celebration of Women’s History Month, I want to take a moment to recognize a few exceptional women I had the privilege of meeting at the Future Proof Conference last week. In an industry that’s long been male-dominated, these leaders are forging their own paths—breaking barriers, challenging norms, and lifting others as they rise. Their resilience, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to excellence are both inspiring and deeply admirable. I’m also continually inspired by the many women across my LinkedIn network who are breaking new ground in financial services. Their leadership is reshaping the industry and creating space for future generations to thrive. It’s a privilege to work alongside professionals like Sarah Pais and Allison Johnson. Watching their journeys unfold reminds me of the power of community, collaboration, and what’s possible when we commit to moving forward together.

What a phenomenal week it has been! That said, I can’t help but miss working with my feet in the sand like I was just last week at Future Proof - CityWide. Grateful for the opportunity to collaborate, connect, and learn from some of the best minds in the industry. The insights shared were truly next level, and the setting? I had an absolute blast at last year’s event. I’ll admit, I avoided conferences for nearly a decade. They always felt salesy. Future Proof has created the kind of conference experience I wish existed twenty years ago. The networking feels natural. The educational events are relaxed. The food is plenty. The booze is free. And the sun shines everyday. This is the new standard. Kudos to Jared Rabinowitz and his team for giving all the Canadians a place to congregate and connect.
