Welcome to the Future is Now Coalition (FiNC), where we’re not just imagining a better democracy—we’re building it. FiNC is pioneering a Blueprint to Upgrade Democracy, a comprehensive plan to make our political system transparent, accountable, and truly representative of the people. At the core of this vision are two transformative initiatives: Digital Democracy (DD) and Digital Politics (DP). Together, they provide tools and frameworks to empower Americans, transcend partisanship, and rebuild trust in our political system. FiNC’s Blueprint Focuses on: > True Citizen Representation: Strengthening the relationship between citizens and their representatives by holding politicians accountable and ensuring they act in the public’s best interests. > Leveling the Playing Field: Reducing the influence of big money in politics and empowering grassroots and third-party candidates to compete fairly. > Informed Citizenship: Making politics simpler, more accessible, and focused on objective, fact-based information rather than partisan spin. Digital Democracy (DD) is a citizen-owned platform currently in development, featuring tools like Politician Report Cards, which track funding sources, conflicts of interest, and promise-keeping. DD will also include a Political Matchmaker, helping voters connect with candidates who align with their values. Meanwhile, Digital Politics (DP) reshapes the relationship between citizens and candidates, focusing on policies and people over party loyalty, promoting transparency, and creating a democracy that reflects America’s shared values. FiNC is not just a movement—it’s a meta-movement, bringing together diverse organizations and individuals to create real change. Our mission to fix democracy from the ground up is ambitious, but the stakes have never been higher. Together, we can build a democracy that truly works for everyone.
