Are you tired of hearing good news? I am not. In fact I am getting tired of the "everything is collapsing" narratives we are getting bombarded with daily. There is so much underreported great news every day, so if you are feeling down, consider these few examples from the Future Crunch article below: - Vietnam is reporting big reductions in poverty - Cancer mortality rates in Canada are dropping fast - 40% of Americans now live in states that are dedicated to 100% clean energy - Global traffic deaths have dropped over the last decade despite the global car fleet doubling during that time - China's stricter regulations on pollution have made Beijing's air significantly cleaner over the last years - The world installed so much renewable energy capacity in 2023 that the International Energy Agency had to significantly increase their forecast - 900 new EV chargers are coming online in the US every week The list goes on and on. Every week they publish stories that blow my mind like this one. They also publish a subscription based email newsletter and give much of the proceeds to small charities.

What's the perfect antidote to a tough week? For me, it's seeking out inspiring, positive news. And it does feel like it's been a bit tough this week. The COP28 farce isn't helping! A few years ago, Egypt had the world’s highest burden of hepatitis C, with around one in ten (9 million) Egyptians chronically infected. In one of the greatest-ever public health accomplishments by a country, it has screened its entire population, brokered a deal for drugs and cured almost everyone, and now it's trying to help other African countries do the same.
