“The proliferation of UAS remains a challenge as adversaries continue to innovate.” That from U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Kellen Rowley at the 2024 Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting where the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command (AAMDC) “highlighted key efforts in transformation, modernization, and innovation in integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) within the EUCOM and AFRICOM areas of responsibility.” When discussing innovations and emerging threats, Rowley emphasized the growing threat of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and the evolving strategies to use them.
