?? Interdisciplinary Research Spotlight ?? Earlier this year, Mason received a $5M gift to advance groundbreaking research on bruise and injury detection for individuals who experience interpersonal violence. The funding will help develop new tools in imaging technology for identifying and visualizing bruising across all skin tones for use by forensic nurses, social service providers, and law enforcement. This project is led by the George Mason University College of Public Health in collaboration with George Mason University - College of Engineering and Computing. Congratulations to all involved!

George Mason University researchers Daniel Barbara, Giuseppe Ateniese, and Gerald Matthews were recently selected as part of a broader team of computer science, cybersecurity, and psychology experts to forge new research pathways and deliver cutting-edge?technology as part of IARPA’s Reimagining Security with Cyberpsychology-Informed Network Defense, or ReSCIND, program. This morning, we welcomed the NAIOP Northern Virginia Bus Tour to Fuse! Team members from Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate, Newmark, and Arlington Economic Development were on hand to introduce the building and explain its role in transforming the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor.
